About Airbok

What is Airbok?

Airbok is an independent app studio in Hong Kong (Airbok Company Limited). We make small, focused apps, one at a time, each built around one real problem instead of a sprawling suite.

Which apps does Airbok make?

Speeky (walkie-talkie and live map), Omeu (focus timer and private chat), Purrlo (pet records and reminders) and Genie (wishlists on shared boards).

Which Airbok apps can I download today?

Speeky and Omeu are live on the App Store for iPhone. Purrlo and Genie are in App Store review, and their pages show download buttons as soon as they're approved.

Are Airbok apps on Android?

Not yet. Our apps are on iPhone first, and Android versions are on the way. Each app's page shows a Google Play button once it's available.

How does Airbok decide what to build next?

From real problems, including yours. Post an idea or vote for one on the ideas board, and you'll see what we're exploring, building and shipping.

Speeky

What is Speeky?

Speeky is an iPhone walkie-talkie and live map for groups. Hold the Talk button and everyone on your channel hears you, and you can see each other on a map. Nearby phones connect directly, so it works with no cell signal, Wi-Fi or SIM.

Does Speeky work without internet or cell service?

Yes. Phones near each other talk directly, with no signal or Wi-Fi needed. When someone moves too far away, Speeky switches to the internet for them automatically if they have signal, and back again when they're close.

How far does Speeky reach without signal?

Phone to phone, about the range of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi between two phones: usually tens of metres in the open, less through walls and crowds. Beyond that, the internet takes over for anyone with signal.

Is Speeky free?

Yes. A free channel holds you plus 2 people, and joining someone else's channel is always free. Leaders can add Seats for up to 33 people, as a subscription or as a pass for one trip.

Does Speeky work with the screen locked?

Yes. Keep the channel open and lock your phone: you'll still hear your group, and you get a notification for messages you missed.

Is Speeky on Android?

Not yet. Speeky is on the App Store for iPhone now, and Android is coming.

Is Speeky an emergency radio?

No. Speeky helps groups stay in touch, but it isn't an emergency radio. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Omeu

What is Omeu?

Omeu is a Pomodoro focus timer for iPhone with a private, end-to-end encrypted chat room for two hidden behind it. Tap the ring three times and enter your PIN to open the room.

Do I need an account to use the Omeu timer?

No. The timer works without an account and keeps all of its data on your phone. An account is only needed for private messages and for subscribing.

Is Omeu free?

Your first focus session is free. After that the timer needs a plan. Room hosts choose a monthly or yearly plan for 1, 3 or 10 rooms, and the person they invite uses the room for free.

Can I change the Pomodoro session lengths?

Yes. You can set the focus, short break and long break lengths, how many sessions come before a long break, and whether breaks start automatically. Live Activities show the countdown on your lock screen and Dynamic Island.

Who can read my Omeu messages?

Only you and the other person in the room. Messages, photos, videos and voice notes are encrypted on your phone before they are sent and can only be decrypted on your contact's phone. Airbok cannot read them.

Do Omeu messages disappear?

Yes. The sender chooses whether a message is deleted right after it's viewed or a few minutes later, and unread messages expire after an hour, a day or a week.

Is Omeu on Android?

Not yet. Omeu is on the App Store for iPhone now, and Android is coming.

Privacy and accounts

Does Airbok sell my data?

No. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers. Each app's privacy policy explains exactly what it collects and why: Speeky, Omeu, Purrlo, Genie.

How do I delete my account?

Inside each app, open the menu, then Account, then Delete account. It's permanent. If you subscribed, cancel in your Apple ID settings too, because Apple handles billing.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are made through Apple, so Apple handles refunds. Use Manage subscriptions in the app, or go to reportaproblem.apple.com.

Help and feedback

How do I report a bug?

Use the bug form: pick the app, your platform and what went wrong, and attach a screenshot if you can. We read every report.

How do I contact Airbok?

Email admin@airbok.com or use the contact form. For help with a specific app, start with its support page: Speeky, Omeu, Purrlo, Genie.

Where can I learn tips for using the apps?

The Airbok blog has guides on talking without signal, group trips, focus routines and keeping chats private.
